05/07/08: Adding the AAW transits.
04/13/08: My grey has grown out since my dye job in Texas by Denise. I have
to find the url for the website that Denise put up for the beauty shop.
 This picture was taken 3 years ago and I'm replacing it
today 04/13/08.
I'm female, half Japanese and half Southern Cracker, so I'm
a Rice-Cracker, Year of the OX, 1949, Leo. 4 grown sons, 5 grandchildren (4
boys/1girl). I'm supposed to be separated but you wouldn't know it by how
much my husband is hanging around. Second thoughts I guess.
That's my mother in 1954, with me and my
older sister, Linda. I don't know which one is me. Linda, born year of the
Rat, 1948, and I are only 11 months apart, ergo the matching outfits.
We turned out to very different. She's a Virgo, and
"normal". I'm the beatnik, hippy, artist, daughter. I'm not "normal". I
don't own a home, a car, haven't driven a car since 1972.
I've lived in the same apartment for over 20 years. Have
been married to a man 26 years my junior since 1996. Still am, but as I
said, it's in a state of flux.
I have a BA in English, Literature from SFSU. Got accepted
to the Graduate school of Creative Writing in time to get hit by the 1989
earthquake. Got rocked and rolled and ate my tuition. Went out to work as an
Administrative Assistant in the corporate world. Felt like an anthropologist
viewing a very different tribe.
Got geeked out and ended up with a computer in 1986. Another
long story but suffice it to say I got my first new computer (in a long
time) today,
02-15-08, and it came to me broken. I'm so bummed. I have to send it back
and get a replacement. I'm glad my current old computer is still working or
I'd have been more bummed than I am.
