When sculpting real people get as many pictures as you can of them and put together a study page. The more unusual the picture the better: top of the head, from behind, ears, under the chin, looking right and left, straight face, face with emotions. Then the only thing left to do is make the clay look like what you see. Some folks are stuck with THE FEAR of sculpting a known individual. I think it is doable, it's work, but it can be done. My goodness it's been done for thousands of years. If your ancestors could do it then you can too. That's what I keep on telling myself.
