02-25-04: First set of pressed dishes using the double mold trick discovered for Pie Crust | ||
08-29-09: Take a mini dish, in my case it was plastic. Take a small square of waxed paper and cut out the outline of that dish. This will be the separation sheet between the two wads of well conditioned polymer clay. Dust the plate with something like baby powder. That will keep the clay from sticking to the plate. Put the plate in one wad of clay, lay down the waxed paper so the dish is exposed but the clay isn't. Then take the second wad of clay and mash it on the plate. Pull the two wads of clay apart and cure. That's your double sided mold. |
