When you make leaf cane and put slices on a background sheet there's a technique you can use to make curved pendants like this easily. Lay the leaf cane so the points of the leaves are splayed outward. Then press. Then cut off the excess. Then attach the leaves sticking out together at their edges. It will automatically make a curved shape, much like darts on a dress. The top of the pressed leaves is simply rolled over so you can have a tube for the cord to thread through as you hang this as a pendant. |
