Below is what is in the description of the YouTube video.

NoraJean.com - How to soften Hard Polymer Clay Part 1 https://youtu.be/LuJmXWxvplk  via @YouTube

In this video I just talk about the products one can use to soften old hard uncured polymer clay. The next video will be my using the three different products to soften old hard polymer clay.

Also I'm nattering about how to make face molds to get different emotions. Information below.

For information on how to make hard clay soft again.

Products shown:

Sculpey Diluent (not Dilu-tent as I was calling it)

Liquid Sculpey: Bakable Transfer and Color Medium. AKA Liquid Polymer Clay

Baby Oil, and if you don't have that you can use Mineral Oil, or Vaseline.

Face Molds: http://www.norajean.com/BH4DO/FaceMolds.htm
Sculpt a face that shows no emotions. Cure it. Make a mold with soft clay over the cured face.

Then CURE THAT MOLD, I didn't mention that on this video. After the mold is cured and cooled then dust it with baby powder and mash in soft clay to get an impression of the face you sculpted.

Make adjustments to that face by adding emotions by pulling the mouth into a smile, or down for a frown. Remember to adjust the eyes to be happy or sad as well. Add laugh lines and crow's feet for an older face. We'll do face sculpting and making molds of those faces in a future video.

I'm still relearning my NCH Video Pad software and couldn't figure out how to get rid of the end logo between segments. I could have started the project over but oh well...
