| Now I know this is a bit of a frightening thing. Looks organic in a reptilian no teeth sort of way. Yikes. But this is just it's starting place for what you want to do to the outside of your hinged egg. Faces can be carved out of the excess clay. I like to carve this white Sculpey. I was thinking of carving channels and then filling with darker colors and then cover with translucent maybe. At this point you begin to chip and shape your egg. Come to know it. Like the Eskimos used to turn soap stone in their hands to see what called out to them to be set free with their carving. Ya, that's the ticket. | ||||||||
