Kai 4, or Kai on the Green Tit Group 1: A lot of folks use a clay extruder to make filigree. This hair is filigree of sorts I guess. I didn't want to use an extruder because there should be at least one example of hand rolled clay snakes somewhere on my site.
I made "hair pieces" with different lengths of strands, usually in a triangle with the longest bit in the middle. Shorter strands going out to the edge.
Add hair pieces section by section like Hollywood Hair Stylists. Start from the lower edges and move up. The sections that are added around the face are pressed to the doll head with the hair going in the opposite direction than how you want it to fall, then flip it back, no ends show.
