Janice (jlam0401) joined the room marlea_anderson: that's great shannon. we tried to make it a relaxing day for mom too- didn't have to lift a finger except to eat, lol marlea_anderson: bread pudding is SO easy to whip up DT Fearless Leader: Ok, the trick is this, chop up the clay scraps, then form into a long log like this, then do the Natasha cut. Cut down the length and open like a book, cut each side down the length and open them as a book. Then put them all back to back, and I'll show you now. DTIntermart: KOOL nj IT LOOKS LIKE A SNAKE... miss_meme_30 joined the room marlea_anderson: so do it all at once dragonladyw2001: That's a lot easier and more efficient than the individual beads I've been doing them. marlea_anderson: yes, I just slice a bit as i go DTIntermart: I wish I knew this last night LOL dragonladyw2001: Better late than never. :) DTIntermart: TRUE Rossija: Just think how many you could have made.... marlea_anderson: this looks so much faster. one of those "duh, why didn't I think of that" moments DTIntermart: Atleast 3000 I think LOL dragonladyw2001: And you would have counted them all? DTIntermart: it is very hard to make a single natasha bead that is 2- 3 MM DTIntermart: Sure I always count after i finish LOL gives me a number to beat next time.. DTIntermart: I s that a mini roling pin NJ? Fearless Leader: Yes it is Doug, now you can cut the beads from this log. dragonladyw2001: I always have trouble smoothing the seams on my Natashas. No matter what I do, it always seems to show. marlea_anderson: so much more efficient DTIntermart: you have to press them together hard... dragonladyw2001: And then squish them back into shape? DTIntermart: Press them while you shape them... Fearless Leader: Then using the Turkey Skewer we can form the holes dragonladyw2001: I thought I was. Maybe I was being too gentle with them.
