2001 Christmas Ramble: Buying stuff has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus.

12-05-2008: Oil Slick Spiral Chop Beads. The spiral is in the cane that gets the chop and toss. This is a continuation of the oil slick obsession.

BEADS: Gathering up the various bead sections going back to 2004. This will keep me from looking all over for tutorials for CITY-o-Clay.

Thanksgiving leftovers  Sandwich Earrings: Here's something you can do with your miniature Thanksgiving left over turkey, make miniature turkey sandwich earrings.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

11-23-2008: Tear Drop Striped Bead - Remember the natasha bananas? That's what gave me the idea of making a natasha bead with stripes. The tear drop shape is an interesting change of pace.
11-16-2008: Oil Slick Chop Index 2 - Taking the stacked sheets and not doing the final press and roll I get to see the  colors better.

11-16-2008: Oil Slick Chop

I'm always stopping to look at oil slicks on puddles when it rains. Makes my older sister crazy when I do that. This is an experiment using colors I see in oil slicks, giving it a chop and then experimenting with stretching the designs with filler.

November 14, 2008: New tutorial

Chop and toss, coleus and generic leaf cane, small round natasha beads, slide show format.

November 8, 2008: I've been having internet connection problems. Turns out that we need a new modem/router bit of hardware. If you've been trying to email me and I've been MIA that's the reason why. By the beginning of next week I should have things straightened out. Keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed for me.

Saying "Solly" a short story written in 2006, for a collection called "If it's not one thing, it's your mother". Since there's been no word of this short story collection being sold to a publisher I'm sharing my contribution in the Bonsai Trailer Court.

I've been skulking about at Yahoo!Answers, muttering about astrology and literature. It keeps me from talking to myself, as much.

01-16-07: The Webcam Demos are on hold. Check out the YouTube videos made of the avi files caught during past webcam demos.

CITY-o-Clay was the first polymer clay and miniature Yahoo Group to have live interactive webcam demos that were free, 2-3 days a week for a couple of years. These are chronicled in the Demo Stuff and Biz-Archive Demo sections, scroll down to the bottom of that page.

All the Webcam demos were group efforts. As I worked the clay and provided links in chat, volunteers would capture screen shots, save demo chat logs, snag avi files. I added digital pictures afterward. My thanks to all the volunteers who have helped over the years.

The management of the Polymer Clay Miniature webring

had been taken from me when I was dealing with real life issues last year.

I received one email from Webring in March 2007 that there were pending members.

I took care of those issues.

I did not receive a subsequent email from Webring

before they gave management to one of their staff.

This is an official notification that I am not the manager of Polymer Clay Miniature webring

and I am building another web ring at Ringsurf.
