Mitch, Thibodaux LA Fearless Leader: Mitch you got a new keyboard and monitor? mommaclara2001: I would like to know how NJ gets the skin so smooth. pasadena_cal: Clara, when you get DSL it comes over the telephone lines (advantage you can talk over phone as usual) and they provide a "splitter" that goes to a special "modem" then to your computer. frogger70301: yup, wireless keyboard and mouse, and a flat panel monitor... going crazy with space now1 Shannon: Mom, she used the clay shaper when she was working on it... rolling it back and forth Fearless Leader: Rolling the clay shaper over the clay. I don't drag the tools over the clay, that roughs up the surface. Roll the cone tipped clay shaper over the surface and it gets smooth. mommaclara2001: They sent me , what I needed , but it didn't fit the back of my computer, Cal. Shannon: NJ I notice a lot of the time, your skin is so smooth it's shiny... is that because of your lamp or the kind of clay you use? chelyha55: i got an LCD monitor Mitch, I love mine Fearless Leader: To add to what Cal is saying, you can get DSL only IF there's a substation close enough to your home. I had to wait for a couple of years before we got a substation close enough for this neighborhood. Those in the rurals have difficulty. mommaclara2001: My clay shaper is tiny. Have a hard time with it. chelyha55: we can get it here, it's just it's more expensive Fearless Leader: Shannon, the shine is because the surface is smooth and reflecting the light when the clay is raw. Shannon: ohhh... will need to get you a bigger one then pasadena_cal: Oh you will need to put a card in older computers. Called a NIC for network interface card. One more expense. frogger70301: what about cable access? Is that a possibility? Shannon: ok NJ... I just never noticed mine doing that LOL mommaclara2001: Well, I hopr it works. I am only about a mile from a sub station. Fearless Leader: I have Operating Room lighting going on here also. For the webcam. Fearless Leader: so I took off the clay and opened the foil and cut off foil to make a flat point of foil mommaclara2001: Ok Fearless Leader: then I moved clay down the forearm to cover and make the hand. vlady6us: gotta get going. bye all. poor vlady6us: poof mommaclara2001: Got cha! vlady6us left the room Fearless Leader: not scientific by any means, nice thing about sculpting is if you don't get it right first thing out, you can cut off stuff, add stuff. mommaclara2001: I have a pretty good armature started. Shannon: what are you going to make with it Mom? mommaclara2001: It is a girl. Shannon: ok! mommaclara2001: Not for sure what it will be, when I am finished.
