NaNoWriMo Index
2020 Because of the CoVid-19 Pandemic there was no 2020 Kick-Off party and that was one of the few events I made effort to attend, even taking ParaTransit to get there. The life of the writer is a lonely one and gatherings like the NaNoWriMo kick-off is one of the few places where writers can meet face to face, share the hopes and wishes for their stories, have a few laughs, win a raffle prize, and I missed being able to do all that. I'm sure a lot of other NaNoWriMo writers around the world are feeling the same thing. Thank goodness for the NaNoWriMo Website where we can have good fellowship, keep in contact with our writing buddies, get invitations to Zoom writing events. On December 5th, 2020, we'll have a TGIO (Thank God It's Over) Zoom event for the San Francisco Chapter of NaNoWriMo. I marked my calendar and intend to attend. I'll see if I can capture some screen shots of that Zoom gathering. Until then Stay Safe and Be Well. |
