| Faux Stuff: This is an experiment with abalone colors. When the cane was done it was too dark. This experiment for the first 4 pictures is the same cane given different amount of layers of pearl behind it. As additional layers of pearl are added in the back and the sheet is pressed, the design gets bigger and lighter. It's one way to salvage a cane you made that came out too dark. The last three pictures are of experiments with abalone colors done on Tour 2001. That's my older sister's dining table under those tiles. | |
