Slice as thin as you need the leaf to be. Form the leaf between thumb and forefinger, give the backside a pinch for a vein, press in along the center. Roll the edges over the curve of your finger and thumb tip with a clay shaper, thinning the edge. Pull it all off and then grab at either end and bend, pull or stretch. The top end of the center line, give that a generous pinch and twist. That will be the stem to anchor this leaf to something.
