Demo Oct0ber 2002 10-05-2002: Turkey Glaze, Cook's Mix, TLS Gravy, Color Cards, Pot Therapy, Spooky Stuff |
techi_mom56: later cheryl..
chelyha left the room buci131: maybe, I'm aiming for the early show, Cheryl jakmiami left the room buci131: ok, don't shoot me--what was the recipe for cheese again? ladytex49 ponders the meaning of life chenoa_2b: now what is this? jude: Ah...eyeball? buci131: turkey glaze for Eva ladytex49 faints on buci131 jude: yikes! I came in the middle of a horror movie! sylsnovelties: heeheehee buci131: heehee buci131: oh, that's good Jude chenoa_2b: are we just doing t he glaze? Or the whole turkey? lool techi_mom56: laugh! buci131: I just want the glaze--I've got the turkey jude: Remember the "Attach of the Eye Creatures"? chenoa_2b: I will have you know that was a laugh with a hiccup in the middle! lol Fearless Leader: ok jude: Attach? Oh, my...Attack I think. buci131: and Jude is attaching eye creatures to herself ladytex49 listens to ladytex49 jude: Fearless Leader: are we ready? snooks2312: yup buci131: Don't shoot me but ladytex49: yes m'am... Fearless Leader: this dirty cane here buci131: what was the recipe for cheese again chenoa_2b: yep, but I think there might be a full moon out. Fearless Leader: is my mix for melted cheddar cheese for cheese burgers Fearless Leader: and for the toasty top on bread buci131: I think that's going to be perfect Fearless Leader: The mix jude: Braided loaf...very nice. chenoa_2b: ya gonna use burnt umber or something? Fearless Leader: is mostly translucent chenoa_2b: got that Fearless Leader: with some orange mixed from scratch Fearless Leader: not packaged orange ladytex49 knows that buci131 knows that the truth is out there buci131: cad yell and cad red? Fearless Leader: yellow and red, to maintain the translucent quality Fearless Leader: cad if you can, zinc if you can buci131: or zinc yell buci131: ok Fearless Leader: doesn't even really matter for cad yellow is more warm buci131: yep Fearless Leader: and we're warming this up with the red buci131: got it Fearless Leader: so it's sort of moot really when mixing cad yellow with a hot color Fearless Leader: so Fearless Leader: then there's a bit of burnt umber Fearless Leader: just a eye booger worth Fearless Leader: in comparison ladytex49: more technical terms here... chenoa_2b: I knew it! Fearless Leader: let me cut a thin slice of this and I'm going to mix it with TLS Fearless Leader: and I have a wonky face mold here Fearless Leader: that will work as a turkey back Fearless Leader: and we're going to brush the turkey back buci131: heehee--you were right Jude Fearless Leader: with this toasty color Fearless Leader: so if there's no questions I'll get to it, who's shooting shots and saving logs? jude: eyes, huh? hehehehe buci131: I got shots ladytex49: fku shots?? Fearless Leader: log duty buci131: oh, you mean on the computer? I thought you meant tequila Fearless Leader: who's got log duty chenoa_2b: I have been doing it. sylsnovelties: I'll do the logs if nobody is doing them Fearless Leader: thank you honey sylsnovelties: Oh, okie, Carolyn is doing them. Fearless Leader: I'll go mix this melted cheddar cheese with some TLS chenoa_2b: do we get to see that part? Fearless Leader: for those who don't know what that is, your claymates will tell you while I mix, Fearless Leader: yes, mixing I will go.... Fearless Leader: see the smear chenoa_2b: Taking a thin slice of the mix chenoa_2b: yes Fearless Leader: that's what gives the bread cane Fearless Leader: a toasty top snooks2312: way too cool buci131: drop of TLS chenoa_2b: putting a dab of TLS on the slice buci131: mixing chenoa_2b: what is she mixing this on? ladytex49: a tile I think.. buci131: looks like buther paper buci131: butcher paper buci131: that's what it looks like to me or something similar techi_mom56: awesome...i havent told my mom what i am up to...but shes got to be wondering...she does doll houses..some loaves of bread would be cool for xmas Fearless Leader: now don't you think we should add more brown to this? buci131: absolutely Fearless Leader: it's a bit too yellow Fearless Leader: ok ladytex49: oops yeah...buthcer paper...or wax paper... chenoa_2b: ok buci131: roach turd size chenoa_2b: adding a couple of rat turds to the mix! lol ladytex49: you techy you... buci131: more TLS buci131: mix mix mix buci131: that looks better already chenoa_2b: But she has only mixed about half of the slice so far. buci131: yep buci131: perhaps just checking the recipe for turkey glaze color before doing it all Fearless Leader: ok that seems brown enough Fearless Leader: let's brush it over this wonky face mold Fearless Leader: and see how it looks chenoa_2b: what are you mixing on? And why only half of the slice? Fearless Leader: once cured it'll look way different Fearless Leader: for the translucent liquid sculpey will go clear Fearless Leader: so make sure your mix has no lumps Fearless Leader: I'm using ceramic tiles chenoa_2b: ok Fearless Leader: I got a bunch of broken tiles for free Fearless Leader: I only used half a slice Fearless Leader: because I didn't need more chenoa_2b: ok Fearless Leader: I'm not doing a whole bird or a series of birds, so a little bit is ok Fearless Leader: any other questions? buci131: nope chenoa_2b: nope Fearless Leader: ok, now I'm going to brush this over this mold back and then I'm going to put it in the oven right away Fearless Leader: hopefully we will all be here in a half an hour Fearless Leader: to see the outcome Fearless Leader: ok? chenoa_2b: yep sylsnovelties: ok buci131: maybe, no promises on the half hour thing buci131: she's using a paint brush to apply it to the mold chenoa_2b: she is using a brush to put the glaze on? Fearless Leader: eyeshadow brush ladytex49: I wish I could but I am gonna hafta go...am sooo tired...Thanks again for a great demo...good night everyone... Fearless Leader: and there it is glazed ladytex49 waves at Fearless Leader chenoa_2b: Nite lady buci131: later Loretta sylsnovelties: Nite ladytex49 left the room snooks2312: nite Loretta chenoa_2b: Then you just wash out the brush? techi_mom56: sitting here playing with clay..think i made a phsycodelic lobster....giggle sylsnovelties: heeheehee chenoa_2b: lol buci131: you're gonna hafta take a pic of that one Nancy Fearless Leader: I wash out the brush after rubbing as much clay off of it as possible techi_mom56: i will if it turns out... chenoa_2b: ok Fearless Leader: I'll go put this in the oven and will post the result on a webpage buci131: goody buci131: banana split and pizza buci131: what a meal! chenoa_2b: ok, you just have a log of toasty color or chedder cheese hanging around, just waiting for TLS? sylsnovelties: There she goes, tempting us with food again! buci131: uses it for cheeseburgers and bread buci131: really makes the bread look great chenoa_2b: My bread ended up looking stupid! Fearless Leader: ok sylsnovelties: Her bread is excellent! Fearless Leader: it's in the oven Fearless Leader: it's the toasty top Fearless Leader: that's what does it sylsnovelties: I have a question. Fearless Leader: yes Fearless Leader: Syl sylsnovelties: Can you use this TLS method on the bread too, or is the sliced one better? Fearless Leader: sliced is better chenoa_2b: you have a log of this chedder cheese mix just sitting around waiting for TLS. chenoa_2b: Lost me! lol sylsnovelties: ok, thanks Fearless Leader: for there is more control with smearing the toasty top down the sides buci131: so on a braid like this you buci131: put the cheese mix on top of the log buci131: then braid it, right? Fearless Leader: I have this "melted" cheddar cheese log around for a number of reasons Fearless Leader: for cooked mini food Fearless Leader: melted cheddar has a translucency Fearless Leader: that non melted cheddar cheese does not buci131: reduce and braid, I guess chenoa_2b: ok, but that is the main idea. YOu mix up a big bunch of it, and slice what you need Fearless Leader: it's toasty top for bread Fearless Leader: I have many canes that are like this Fearless Leader: they are used for a number of things Fearless Leader: like if I need to make salad Fearless Leader: I have a bunch of green mixed with various amounts of translucent Fearless Leader: so I can take different darknesses of green Fearless Leader: stack sheets Fearless Leader: cut off some stripes Fearless Leader: smear them on a tile Fearless Leader: razor them up and I have salad greens Fearless Leader: sushi fixings chenoa_2b: Now that makes sense! Fearless Leader: citrus peelings Fearless Leader: I have them done ahead of time chenoa_2b: I am gobsmacked! lol Fearless Leader: I have raw meat and cooked meat already mixed Fearless Leader: if I need a cooked hamburger Fearless Leader: I take a slice of cooked roast beef Fearless Leader: and mince it up Fearless Leader: works perfectly Fearless Leader: should Fearless Leader: take a slice of that cooked roast beef Fearless Leader: and mix it with TLS Fearless Leader: your gravy will match your dinner Fearless Leader: meat Fearless Leader: see? Fearless Leader: wanna see? Fearless Leader: LOL sylsnovelties: yes, please chenoa_2b: But I have problems with getting the colors right. I only get the basics, blue, red, yellow, white and black chenoa_2b: Yes! Fearless Leader: with the basics snooks2312: i do i do Fearless Leader: you can make anything chenoa_2b: But the right color! Fearless Leader: After I show you the hamburger Fearless Leader: then I want to show you my color cards Fearless Leader: ok? chenoa_2b: I read instructions, and it talks about beige and such. Fearless Leader: we got to talk about mixing color chenoa_2b: Ok Fearless Leader: screw beige Fearless Leader: all beige is Fearless Leader: white Fearless Leader: and brown Fearless Leader: there Fearless Leader: you got beige Fearless Leader: barbie skin color chenoa_2b: lol Fearless Leader: we can mix our own colors snooks2312: flat and boring Fearless Leader: I have a section on mixing brown from the three primary colors Fearless Leader: on the site Fearless Leader: also... sylsnovelties: I did that accidentally. heeheehee Fearless Leader: hold up let me get something sylsnovelties: I was trying for a different color, I don't remember which one, and came up with a pretty brown. Fearless Leader: this Fearless Leader: is the Cook's Mix Fearless Leader: a bead box with cured mini food chenoa_2b: Oh! NJ's deli! lol buci131: oh Fearless Leader: that's the meat section Fearless Leader: hey I got Spam for the Hawaiians who love to eat that stuff buci131: what do you use the cured minis for? do you put mini food together that way? chenoa_2b: Hey that is good in sandwiches! lol sylsnovelties: I love spam! chenoa_2b: yah! Syl! buci131: you guys are scaring me here sylsnovelties: I like spam and eggs! snooks2312: I love it fried up sylsnovelties: heeheehee buci131: green spam and eggs chenoa_2b: with cheese! lol sylsnovelties: Now, I'm hungry for spam buci131: looks like gyro meat Fearless Leader: raw hamburger looks different from cooked Fearless Leader: so if you're doing a bbq prep mini meal scene Fearless Leader: you need to mix raw ground beef and cooked sylsnovelties: You have some raw hamburger? sylsnovelties: Oh, neato buci131: NJ what do you use the cooked mini food parts for? Just for scenes? chenoa_2b: did you use your food processor to get the little c hunks? Is that raw meat chop? sylsnovelties: I love that raw hamburger! heeheehee Fearless Leader: The mini foods is my favorite thing to do when I'm just using up scraps Fearless Leader: I want to do mini food beads sylsnovelties: Don't get scared Eva, I don't eat it raw! heeheehee chenoa_2b: How do you do tortillas? Flour ones? Fearless Leader: do mini tea pots done as bell peppers and stuff like that sylsnovelties: I've been working on those, Carolyn. buci131: heehee--good way to get sick Fearless Leader: The little chunks for mini food is cut up with the exacto knife chenoa_2b: Any tips! buci131: stuffed bell peppers sylsnovelties: I'm still figuring it out. heeheehee chenoa_2b: I am supposed to be doing a Mex cocina Fearless Leader: the tortillas, the flour ones need dots of brown eyeshadow Fearless Leader: on off white clay Fearless Leader: to get the cooked areas Fearless Leader: so it's a little tricky chenoa_2b: All of my eye shadow is shimmery Fearless Leader: but if you're doing a stack Fearless Leader: you only have to do the top one, scrape pastel chalk Fearless Leader: and mix you a brown that way chenoa_2b: got that! chenoa_2b: I used it on pears and apples Fearless Leader: ok, now to take roast beef Fearless Leader: and chop it up for hamburger buci131: couldn't you do a little cane of off white with some brown jelly roll canes in it sylsnovelties: cook a piece of brown just in a glob and grate it. Works good. buci131: for the tortillas? chenoa_2b: Brown? what color of brown!?! lol sylsnovelties: That is what I'm experimenting with Eva. buci131: like that brown cane there on screen snooks2312: red onions chenoa_2b: are those onions? buci131: diff sizes of logs, just a few, wrapped up in off white color buci131: may have to play with tortillas too buci131: ah well--so much to do buci131: yep, those look like red onions buci131: well, except my pic on the webcam has really bad coloring chenoa_2b: tamalies and enchiladas, salsa... buci131: so I'm never quite sure what color these things are sylsnovelties: If I get my tortillas to look decent, I'll send a pic. Lord knows it took me long enough to get the real ones to look decent! heeheehee buci131: salsa--lots of TLS with chunks of red, green and trans with white Fearless Leader: cooked meat Fearless Leader: isn't just one color Fearless Leader: there's a pattern the muscle makes Fearless Leader: you can get that look with stacking sheets Fearless Leader: and doing a ying yang fold like this Fearless Leader: for the roast beef slice Fearless Leader: if you wanted to do a whole roast beef with some slices coming off of it Fearless Leader: take a cane like this and do two things Fearless Leader: first Fearless Leader: take some dental floss chenoa_2b: Now why do I see roast beast done like tiger skin? Fearless Leader: and tie it around the roast beef Fearless Leader: like you have string on your roast beef from the store Fearless Leader: and then brush the top of your roast beef with some brown color paint, powder or TLS smear chenoa_2b: what is the smear? Fearless Leader: then slice off a couple of slices off of that roast and put it on a platter Fearless Leader: TLS and a bit of burnt umber is what I'd go for Fearless Leader: when I refer to a smear sylsnovelties: For that rare look? chenoa_2b: How do yo make burnt umber? Fearless Leader: it's always TLS with some color Fearless Leader: use the three primary colors Fearless Leader: to get brown chenoa_2b: ok Fearless Leader: it's on the Color Card section Fearless Leader: this is the color card for Brown Fearless Leader: there's three primary colors to the left Fearless Leader: each different piece there Fearless Leader: is mixed with something along with the primary colors Fearless Leader: mixed with translucent to get Coke and Ice Tea Fearless Leader: mixed with pearl, gold, gold and pearl, etc chenoa_2b: I think my brain is pre kindergarten. Fearless Leader: one part yellow, blue and red Fearless Leader: gives you something very close to packaged burnt umber Fearless Leader: close enough for government work buci131: really? That's cool chenoa_2b: Does this mean I can quite grinding my teeth? lol Fearless Leader: now Fearless Leader: burnt umber is a little different than our three part primary brown Fearless Leader: but really Fearless Leader: no one is going to bust you for that Fearless Leader: relax Fearless Leader: if you have the three primary colors buci131: no teeth grinding allowed Fearless Leader: and black and white Fearless Leader: you got it pretty much covered Fearless Leader: I'd invest in the pretty mica clays after that Fearless Leader: pearl chenoa_2b: I know I am obsessive and a perfectionist. Fearless Leader: gold Fearless Leader: silver Fearless Leader: copper Fearless Leader: and then take those basic colors you have Fearless Leader: and just Fearless Leader: go chenoa_2b: Pearl, gold, silver and copper Fearless Leader: nuts chenoa_2b: Translucent. Fearless Leader: fushia experiment Fearless Leader: what a bother that was Fearless Leader: man chenoa_2b: are those glued onto card stock? Fearless Leader: those are my bread crumbs to find my way out of the forest of color mixing Fearless Leader: make a record of what you're mixing and adding Fearless Leader: it's like a computer flow chart Fearless Leader: make cards of your blends too Fearless Leader: like this one Fearless Leader: then you can repeat what you've discovered Fearless Leader: twisted blends Fearless Leader: make sea shells Fearless Leader: and animal prints sylsnovelties: If you have some kind of turquoise color and want a dark cobalt blue, what could you add to it? chenoa_2b: I never did get a amonite snooks2312: I'm gonna have to bail ladies, am no longer seeing straight snooks2312: too tired Fearless Leader: nighty night sylsnovelties: Nitey Nite chenoa_2b: ok nighty... buci131: nighty night Jan snooks2312: will see ya tomorrow night snooks2312: probably later one snooks2312: night jude: Night. snooks2312 left the room chenoa_2b: abalone! Fearless Leader: exactly Fearless Leader: one of the abalone experiments sylsnovelties: Anyone got an answer for my blue question? chenoa_2b: how to make turquise into cobalt? buci131: I don't know--did you try a little red and maybe black? sylsnovelties: yes Fearless Leader: hold up sylsnovelties: I haven't tried anything yet Fearless Leader: I didn't see your question Fearless Leader: what's the noodle? buci131: turqoise to cobalt blue buci131: turquoise buci131: is it possible? Fearless Leader: turquoise has green in it Fearless Leader: yellow is in green chenoa_2b: That was what I was thinking Fearless Leader: colbalt is cool cool cool Fearless Leader: hmmm Fearless Leader: I wish I could see the starting color Fearless Leader: then I'd have a better idea buci131: is the packaged turq Syl? Fearless Leader: is it a blue turquoise or a more green one Fearless Leader: they are not consistent with mixed packaged clay those DOGS sylsnovelties: blue one Fearless Leader: grrrr chenoa_2b: like a sky blue? sylsnovelties: no label on it. Fearless Leader: ok Fearless Leader: do this sylsnovelties: Umm, no more turquoise than sky blue Fearless Leader: Here are my blue color cards Fearless Leader: that middle row there is more green Fearless Leader: sea foam green Fearless Leader: then there's different variations of blue Fearless Leader: see those little circles there Fearless Leader: take some turquoise Fearless Leader: and roll out a sheet Fearless Leader: cut out some circles Fearless Leader: then what other colors do you have there to mix with it? Fearless Leader: my concern is if we add red Fearless Leader: it'll come out brown Fearless Leader: for a greenish blue Fearless Leader: is already yellow and blue Fearless Leader: add red Fearless Leader: we got brown Fearless Leader: we can get brown from a number of angles buci131: that's part of my problem--photog mentality Fearless Leader: so if we are to cool a color down Fearless Leader: black buci131: you want to get rid of green you use a red filter Fearless Leader: red I was thinking but monitor mix and clay mix are different buci131: yep Fearless Leader: my self Fearless Leader: crimson Fearless Leader: some black, some crimson Fearless Leader: mix with the turquoise and then see buci131: isn't crimson red with black in it? Fearless Leader: that's Ox Blood, like bento boxes buci131: or is it red with blue and black in it buci131: oh Fearless Leader: I guess it depends on the amount of black to red ratio Fearless Leader: but I'd do little circles Fearless Leader: with a small heart of red and black Fearless Leader: and mix and see Fearless Leader: or little leaves, any measure that is constant Fearless Leader: we can only figure this out by sitting down and doing as many variations as we can think of buci131: Oh, is the turkey done yet?--I'm hungry chenoa_2b: duh! log save! lol Fearless Leader: and keep track of the measures Fearless Leader: let me check the turkey Fearless Leader: LOL buci131: heehee chenoa_2b: I wonder if NJ is left or right handed? Fearless Leader: I put a finger dabbing of floor polish on it Fearless Leader: right handed sylsnovelties: Sorry, I was looking to see if I could read what it said on the piece of label that is on the clay buci131: oh, is this it Fearless Leader: but ambidextrious in most things buci131: oh, that's looks pretty good chenoa_2b: I swear you think like a lefty. Smart as a tack and talented! lol sylsnovelties: That looks like a roasted turkey! buci131: goody--thanks bunches NJ Fearless Leader: I love how the molds do that Fearless Leader: look like it's sculpted instead of indented Fearless Leader: dig Fearless Leader: about the bird Fearless Leader: a tooth brush Fearless Leader: to the skin please Fearless Leader: for the just plucked look buci131: ooh, thank you Fearless Leader: then brush buci131: great idea Fearless Leader: dark at the ankles Fearless Leader: and wing tips Fearless Leader: for they cook dark Fearless Leader: not a lot of meat there Fearless Leader: the tall breast ridge too, a little darker chenoa_2b: syl, can you save the logs? my computer is scanning sylsnovelties: sure Fearless Leader: top of the thighs buci131: but I can use the glaze to make that part darker, right? buci131: those parts Fearless Leader: ya ya Fearless Leader: exactly chenoa_2b: Thanks! Fearless Leader: ok, now how would you glaze a pineapple upside down cake? Fearless Leader: what colors? Fearless Leader: with TLS? jude: Hmm....I'm wondering how NJ's duck l'orange turns out! buci131: similar, wouldn't they be? buci131: cause you make it with brown sugar buci131: or similar to the toasty bread top chenoa_2b: and the yellow pinapple Fearless Leader: for that caramel glaze Fearless Leader: a bit of yellow Fearless Leader: a bit of burnt umber chenoa_2b: Curried rice Fearless Leader: melted cheddar cheese and white Fearless Leader: with TLS Fearless Leader: it's not translucent Curry Fearless Leader: but Fearless Leader: for Sweet and Sour Fearless Leader: red and burnt umber Fearless Leader: yum Fearless Leader: now jude: Do you put pineapple in your sweet and sour? Fearless Leader: I call out and have it delivered Fearless Leader: and eat what ever they put in Fearless Leader: San Francisco, Chinese food capital of America jude: LOL Fearless Leader: I can get Sushi delivered Fearless Leader: if I had the money jude: I wish we had one here. chenoa_2b: German Chinese is better! lol Fearless Leader: now Fearless Leader: about glazes Fearless Leader: what else is glazed Fearless Leader: in food chenoa_2b: Ham, jude: Carrots! sylsnovelties: donuts chenoa_2b: beans, green beans. Fearless Leader: cinnimon rolls buci131: Syl stole my answer chenoa_2b: Baked beans jude: Syl zeros right into donuts. LOL! Fearless Leader: and what gravy's can you think of chenoa_2b: Sos! chenoa_2b: lol Fearless Leader: light for chicken fried steak sylsnovelties: Cream gravy jude: Hollandaise. buci131: cream gravy for Chicken Fried Steak Fearless Leader: red gravy with rice techi_mom56: laugh...hubby loves sos... jude: Spaghetti gravy. Fearless Leader: dark roast beef gravy which I'm going to show you how to do right now chenoa_2b: beef gravy buci131: Ok, I gotta go--need my beauty sleep before The Kid disturbs it in the morning buci131: Syl, can you pick up screen shots? sylsnovelties: Nite Eva jude: Nigt Eva. sylsnovelties: Sure Eva buci131: thanks Fearless Leader: Nighty Night Eva buci131: Nighty Night all techi_mom56: g'nite buci131 left the room chenoa_2b: And what about chocolate sauce? jude: One of God's gifts. sylsnovelties: That's the best sauce! Fearless Leader: Chocolate sause is burnt umber and TLS chenoa_2b: That and strawberries! lol jude: What is that? techi_mom56: oh thats so great... chenoa_2b: so less TLS would make choco frosting? jude: Oh, the cake. Fearless Leader: that's just burnt umber Fearless Leader: TLS Fearless Leader: and it's frosting Fearless Leader: more TLS Fearless Leader: it's chocolate syrup jude: Hmm...I could make some mini Hershey bars, huh? chenoa_2b: Molasass? sylsnovelties: I could eat some mini hershey bars. jude: Yum! chenoa_2b: I use that in Veal Scalapinie (sp)? chenoa_2b: That would be a bit different color of gravy, beef gravy jude: There is country gravy, too. jude: Looks like an Oreo! chenoa_2b: And what about the stuff th ey put on egg foo young? jude: Delicious! sylsnovelties: I haven't eaten that in ages jude: cornstarch to thicken and chicken broth. chenoa_2b: lol I used brown gravy mix and added soy sauce! lol Fearless Leader: To get your gravy to match your dinner meat jude: Used to go to a place that had shrimp foo yung. So, good. Fearless Leader: use your dinner meat and TLS for your gravy Fearless Leader: it's easier that way jude: Right, makes all kinds of sense. jude: She does these things so quickly. Fearless Leader: now through the magic of web cam jude: I just love the peas. chenoa_2b: I am going to have to just jump in and start mucking around with th e dang stuff! lol jude: Yes! sylsnovelties: I know what you mean. sylsnovelties: I'm always so afraid of wasting clay jude: That is how I finally started doing things. Fearless Leader: if you're afraid of wasting clay Fearless Leader: do minis chenoa_2b: lol leopard skin shoes with gravy in them! jude: Right! Fearless Leader: it's the safest bet in town Fearless Leader: I got a lot of my color mixing learned Fearless Leader: doing mini food jude: then, it's just a little bit of clay, Syl. Fearless Leader: for we are bound to what we see sylsnovelties: heeheehee Right. Fearless Leader: something's missing Fearless Leader: can't have a dinner like that jude: Missing? Fearless Leader: peas are starch Fearless Leader: ya Fearless Leader: we need some jude: Dessert? Fearless Leader: salad sylsnovelties: I made some chili and was really staring at it the other night and Bill asked if there was a bug in it or what? techi_mom56: well i better send an order in for tls...cant get it around here...and you can only get clay in kits... jude: Oh, greens...okie. jude: Yum! jude: Ranch on mine, please. chenoa_2b: lol and you where checking it out to see what colors and how to make it! lol sylsnovelties: Oh yes, a salad! jude: LOL! Doncha love it! sylsnovelties: You got it Carolyn! heeheehee jude: Nice salad bowl there, too. Fearless Leader: Time to review Fearless Leader: Pot Therapy Fearless Leader: ready? jude: Okie. sylsnovelties: ready chenoa_2b: I need to move, hurting from sitting so long! Fearless Leader: You seen these already, right? jude: The pots? chenoa_2b: Not the kitchen pots! lol jude: I love the kitchen pots! sylsnovelties: I love the silver pots! jude: I just saw the pic you sent through the list. jude: Those are SO neat! chenoa_2b: If you want, go on ahead and I will catch it another time or what ever. But I have got to move! chenoa_2b: brb jude: did you use silver clay? Fearless Leader: yes Fearless Leader: spatula jude: I have some gold and I was wondering...copper bottoms...hehehehe Fearless Leader: to carve the turkey jude: Now, if I do Southwest, I would do cast iron. jude: But, the form of the pots is what I'm interested in. jude: Love the coffee pot. jude: that is so neat. jude: Oh, my! the top comes off...too cute! Fearless Leader: top comes off when YOU want it to jude: Even better. Fearless Leader: hate mini stuff where the tops don't fit Fearless Leader: watch Fearless Leader: I can turn it over and the top stays put jude: Fantastic. Fearless Leader: stew pot with top jude: I was looking in a mini catalog, at their mini food. And, there is no comparison. The things in that catalog were schmuck compared to whate I have seen here. jude: whate? Fearless Leader: wok with wok cook gear jude: I'm making up words again. sylsnovelties: You better believe it! jude: It looks so much like metal. Fearless Leader: I'm working on an old fashioned rice pot, it needs handles and a pot knob still Fearless Leader: it started with looking for a better platter for the banana splits chenoa_2b: log save sylsnovelties: You saving logs again Carolyn? chenoa_2b: yeah, but it is still scanning sylsnovelties: I got whatever you didn't then. chenoa_2b: ok jude: Tin cup! jude: Just right for scraping along the bars demanding food! Fearless Leader: lol chenoa_2b: ok, now for a glass of what ever. Trans for the base, and log of trans and colored for the liquid chenoa_2b: coved with a thin sheet of trans?
