start on the eyes
Fearless Leader: while I was rebooting I made two new heads
Fearless Leader: no features
Fearless Leader: but I think I'll work on eyes on a larger scale

Fearless Leader: Do you want me to do a small head with eyes so you
can see the small tools?

Fearless Leader: Now there's a couple of different ways we can go
about doing eyes
Fearless Leader: one is to have a skull form
Fearless Leader: with a nose bridge and eye brow ridge already made
Fearless Leader: like this
Fearless Leader: so putting in the eyes is a matter of laying down an
oval of white
Fearless Leader: and a hole poked in that oval for the iris and pupil
Fearless Leader: Denise sent me some eyeball cane
Fearless Leader: let's see if we can use that today
Fearless Leader: so the eyes have a width to them
Fearless Leader: the space between them is one eye width worth
Fearless Leader: do we understand this so far?

Fearless Leader: so this one works out well with one inch for eye
width
Fearless Leader: one inch between the eyes
Fearless Leader: I'm just sort of sketching in the lines where the
white oval will go
Fearless Leader: I'll just grab some pearl and let's lay down the
whites of the eyes first
Fearless Leader: I take some pearl
Fearless Leader: and form it into the rough oval shape for the whites
of the eyes
Fearless Leader: I'll cut this ball of clay in half
Fearless Leader: and then lay it on the skin
Fearless Leader: now I'll poke a hole in the center
Fearless Leader: to drop down a bit of that eyeball cane
Fearless Leader: which is only iris and pupil
Fearless Leader: I'm reducing the eyeball cane
Fearless Leader: so the iris and pupil will fit this eye
Fearless Leader: I reduced the eyeball cane
Fearless Leader: sliced off a bit
Fearless Leader: that much
Fearless Leader: then I formed one side like a cone
Fearless Leader: that's going down the eyeball hole

Fearless Leader: not for the most part
Fearless Leader: I've known two people who are totally bald

Fearless Leader: we could use a little lower lid too
Fearless Leader: a sliver of a leaf slice
Fearless Leader: see how I cut the leaf shape?
Fearless Leader: we can use those smaller cuts by stretching them to
fit the lower lid

see how it goes

Fearless Leader: to give effort to some lashes
Fearless Leader: trick with lashes
Fearless Leader: is only do 3/4ths of the eye
Fearless Leader: starting from the outer corners
Fearless Leader: eyes that are lashed heavily
Fearless Leader: all the way around
Fearless Leader: look like Liz Taylor in Cleopatra
Fearless Leader: which is an ok look
Fearless Leader: but it has its limits
Fearless Leader: LOL
Fearless Leader: so let's get some lashes

whites of the eyes
Fearless Leader: I want to experiment with putting translucent

Fearless Leader: like a cornea
Fearless Leader: so I'll press the iris down to the white level
Fearless Leader: for the curve of the eye at the front is transparent
Fearless Leader: really
Fearless Leader: but for smaller faces
Fearless Leader: smaller dolls
Fearless Leader: it's not a big issue
Fearless Leader: for a larger face like this

translucent over the iris and pupil
