8, 9 Watermelon: Here is the front of the earrings. These went to my DIL. The cut in half mini melons can work as a food platter in a mini scene or the anchor to this earring. Here the outer stripes would have been nice to have. Ah it's nice to have 20/20 hindsight, the dark green stripes would have been very nice here, yes? There's always a next time for me and a first time done more true to life with you.
The earring clip is not glued on. I never glue findings onto clay but rather bury them into the clay. Two pieces of that faux matting was placed on both sides of the finding. The cut melon was added afterward. Cured and then finished with Future floor polish. Use Flecto if you got issues with Future. I like it because it's cheap and readily found.
