So you want to know how to get the TLS on the hair and embed it in the clay? Rossija: Hey, Razma! The article on the butterfly cane is in the mail. Fearless Leader: Ok, the hair is tied at one end and laid down on the tile, then TLS is put on the loose ends and it just sticks to the tile while curing. That is a twistie tie at the end, I use them all the time. Jmouse: okay Jmouse: I see Fearless Leader: then I break off a lock of hair with the TLS hair root Jmouse: that TLS is cooked? Fearless Leader: yes, the TLS and hair are cured so we have a stiff root to bury Jmouse: oh, yes, curing Jmouse: okay Fearless Leader: and it is buired by slicing into the head and sticking in the root with the lock of hair attached to it pasadena_cal: Hair plugs!!! Fearless Leader: Exactly Fearless Leader: just like hair plugs Jmouse: so the head is uncured? Fearless Leader: yes, if the head is cured use a scale of raw clay the color of the hair Jmouse: how thick is the 'scale'? Fearless Leader: start from the outer edge of the hair and plant the hair plugs going around until you get to the crown of the head Fearless Leader: I don't understand Fearless Leader: the scalp? Fearless Leader: is that what you mean? Jmouse: how thick is the 'skin' that you imbed in? Jmouse: yes Fearless Leader: oh gosh, about 1/16th of an inch, just enough to bury the root Jmouse: oh, okay Fearless Leader: want to see the Centaur?
