10-30-19: Tongues of Fire Tear Bead

Tongues of Fire, or TOF, is one of my favorite techniques. Polymer clay stretches as we all know. If you layer sheets of clay and stretch it then the colors also move but the colors don't move uniformly. This is what I take advantage of when making Tongues of Fire beads, or pinch pots for miniaturists, that stretching of color.

10-29-19: First Efforts With Old Clay - First efforts with making Tongues of Fire beads with the rejuvenated old polymer clay. I tried three different products and you'd be surprised to learn which one worked the best.

Below is the link to the video on YouTube showing the process of making a TOF Tear Bead.

I do not prepare different stages to show you like a magician "Ta Da" and it's all done. I take the risk to make a miscalculation on camera as I've always done in the 20 years of sharing my polymer clay journey with all y'all.

Sit down comedy added free of charge.
