Pallet Thumbnails: Playing around with these colors. I have to get some close ups of this flower. But for now I just want to nudge my claymates to think outside of the box with pins and pendants. The design on this clay fabric is in the round, wedges that were pressed, and backed with more pearl and pressed a couple of times to open up the design and show the abalone colors. Picking it up from one side and not the center gives this off center spiral. The tight design of the flower petals in contrast to the wide open design of the lower part.
