Pallet Thumbnails: How did this happen... ok, I took some of the raggedy ends of the stacked sheets of clay. I made a cane of these and reduced them to a wedge shape. I pressed the wedged shape slices on a sheet of pearl. It had these edges that I thought, what if I fill them up from behind. It looked horrid, like a Victorian quilted chair back gone moldy or something. So I pressed it out of spite and discovered this, which I do like a lot, actually. When you experiment with a pallet put your clay thought its paces and discover stuff yourself.
