Ammonite Experiments - The third effort is that bamboo colored jelly roll cane, rolled out to be a cone again, and the inserts were closer and more in number in the narrow end of the cone. Thinner slices too for the pointy end of the cone. I had some Gold leaves pressed on black laying about in my sheets collection and I covered the cane with that sheet. Then I took a brayer and rolled it into a long the cone shape that's now got a cover. I made it flat at the pointy end and taller at the big end, keeping the width of the cane even so when I roll it the ends will all meet.
