One problem some claymates had was to make the lighter sheets too thick. Reduce the whole sheet stack by pulling on the edges like you're making a pizza pie, tortillas, japatti or rotti. Any flat doughy thing can be stretched out by pulling from the edges, patting the middle down by flapping it from one open hand to another, by taking by one edge and wiggling it wildly. Reduce stacked sheets, slice and stack again. Those too thick lighter lines will be narrower now. Don't worry about the lines going woobly, we're looking for some randomness found in nature after all.
