Putting the Abalone 2002 colors through their paces: Another hanging hankie, but this one is not cured yet. The design on the hanky was made from taking the pleats and jelly rolling them.  One layer was a slice of that block of clay, backed with pearl, pleated and then jelly rolled. On the shelf below the hanging hankie is a real abalone shell with slices of chop and toss laid on it to check the hue of the colors. The fact that the chop and toss all but disappears on the abalone shell means I'm getting close.
