Pen Pals, the first group. The women are featured first. The Men are still in process. 10 pictures. 

As part of the September is Sculpting month and the interest in covering pens going on with the MSATClayArt (Now called CITY-o-Clay) list I merged the two and came up with PEN PALS. Sculpted covered pens.

Review of Sculpting. Aluminum foil armature, using the food processor to mix clay colors, doing the taffy pull, covering the armature with clay and starting the sculpting process for the Jolly Green Giantess.

Back in April 2003, the first sculpted covered pen was done. The Sleeping Lady Pen. I gave it away on impulse so this is one of the reasons why I'm making a boatload of them now.

09-19-03: Review of Faces and Figures

This is Hanna. My only niece. Her mother, SuSu, or Frizzle Frats, my younger sister sent this to me just now. Don't ya love technology? I do. 

Sculptors note: Baby's ears are low, the features clustered at the lower half of the face. On adult faces the mid point is the pupil of the eye. With babies the mid point is the eyebrow.
